Compliance and responsible outreach

Effective outreach has to be responsible outreach. We run every campaign within current standards and best practices, to protect your reputation and respect the people we contact.

Our Commitment to Compliance

Compliance is not an afterthought for us. It is part of how we keep your messages deliverable, your sender reputation protected, and your brand trusted.

We work within the laws and platform rules that apply to outreach, follow industry best practices, and adjust as those rules evolve. Responsible outreach is better outreach, and it is better for your business in the long run.

Standards We Work Within

These are the main frameworks that apply to outbound messaging and calling. We work within each one as it applies to your campaigns.

A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person Messaging)

A2P 10DLC is the United States framework for business text messaging. Brands and campaigns are registered so carriers can verify legitimate senders and reduce spam. We complete this registration before running SMS campaigns, which supports better deliverability.

TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)

The TCPA is a United States federal law that governs calls and text messages, including rules on consent, automated dialing, and the National Do Not Call Registry. We structure calling and messaging to respect these rules and to honor do-not-contact requests.

CAN-SPAM Act

The CAN-SPAM Act sets the rules for commercial email in the United States. It requires accurate sender and subject information, a clear way to opt out, prompt handling of opt-out requests, and a valid physical mailing address. We follow these requirements on every email campaign.

CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation)

CASL governs commercial electronic messages in Canada, including email and SMS, with rules on consent, sender identification, and unsubscribe. Wherever it is applicable, we ensure that our messaging is in line with the requirements of CASL.

GDPR and UK rules (for European recipients)

For prospects in the European Union and the United Kingdom, data protection and electronic marketing rules apply, including a lawful basis for handling personal data and the right to opt out. We handle data for these regions with those rules in mind.

Do Not Call registries

When it comes to calling, we respect any do-not-contact requests and any applicable do-not-call registries. Individuals who have indicated that they do not wish to receive any further communication from you will not be contacted again as a result of this action.

How we keep outreach responsible

We handle the setup, the registration, and the day-to-day practices that keep your campaigns compliant.

A few things depend on you. You provide accurate business and sender information, approve the messaging we send on your behalf, and make sure your product or offer is itself lawful. When we work together on these tasks, your outreach stays clean, deliverable, and trusted.

How we handle your data

We treat your business information and your customer data as confidential. Data is used to run your campaigns and manage your pipeline, and nothing else. You keep ownership and access to your data and accounts at all times.

For full details on how information is collected, used, and protected, see our Privacy Policy.

Opt-out and data requests

Anyone who receives our outreach can opt out at any time, using the unsubscribe link in emails, by replying to stop messages, or by contacting us directly.

To opt out, ask a compliance question, or request that your information be removed, use our contact form and select the option that fits your request.
